When we successfully ground, we all feel electricity run through our whole body... from the top to the ground. Of course you felt it run thru your legs. The more charge we build up while ungrounded, the more we feel it when we discharge it to the ground.
No, this was different. It wasn't the gentle energy of the earth that I'm used to when grounded. I know what that feels like. This was an inorganic frequency and feeling. I do not trust the wiring in the wall for grounding, it's always running ELF. The ELF picks up on whatever source is nearby and then will route through the outlet to the mat. I'd rather ground on the real earth when possible. But thanks for your insight.
I'm glad you described what it feels like when you ground the build up of ELF electrosmog. I feel EMR most as bothersome static electricity around my neck and shoulders. It especially accumulates in areas of past spinal injury. The pain from it has lessened 90% by using the Triangle in mineral baths for the last six months. Light bulb moment... the power lines are antennae that pull electricity from the air to them. There's voltage/ force from electric plants pushing the current onto the lines. Electric pasture fencing is a very simple application of electricity. My first major application of DC electricity was installing hundreds of feet of single strand electric tape on top of our pasture fences. It's there to keep the horses from leaning on the fence and knocking it down. It's powered by a solar charger. Solar panels charge a 12V battery via a transformer; two leads from the 12V battery direct its energy to and from the electric tape. The battery's hot wire attaches to the electric tape. The battery's ground wire runs to a metal stake in the ground. The battery's DC runs from the hot wire around the fence and back to its ground. This is the important part. IF THE GROUND IS NOT WET, the metal stake cannot ground the battery very well and the zap from the fence wire is light. WHEN THE GROUND IS WET, the zap is pretty intense. Morning dew is a good conductor until the sun dries it up. Therefore, the metal stake has to be long enough to tap into wet ground. 2-3" is not long enough during a dry spell. A 12" stake is not long enough when it's hot and dry here. A 3 foot rebar stake works pretty well.
The manufacturer also suggested installing these mini transformer type grounders around the fence. They connect the electric fence to multiple grounding rods spaced evenly along the fence line. Their purpose is to prevent lightening from blowing out the solar fence charger during an electrical thunderstorm. So far in 20 yrs, only two chargers have gone bad, so they must be working.
I don't know if this is the best explanation for how the fence is set up. This is my perspective about it. I just know that the electricity won't flow around the tape if the battery doesn't have a good ground.
