We tend to interpret that from the POV of loving and serving others. But the inverse is true too.
Add to it Deut 32:35 “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; for their day of disaster is near, and their doom is coming quickly.”
He wants vengeance for two reasons: 1, no one can do it better, or more fairly than He. He knows enough to dispense true justice instead of blind justice, and no one has better resources than He does to do a fantastic job of it. Hence, I try to pursue His mind and feelings about a matter, rather than ask Him to forgive and bless the way I think because I don’t want to change.
But sometimes we don’t connect the dots and realize 2, He *wants the vengeance because He feels the offense, the assault, the destruction, as though it were done to Him. Rightfully so, it *was done to Him. We are each shards of light, taken from the Most High God, then given complete freedom to love Him, or not to. To decide each day whom we will be in response to what is done to us. We return to Him, and carry our pain and scars from this life to Him with us. They’ll be a currency to spend somehow; that’s why in the Luke version of the parable of the talents, as opposed to the Matthew version, the servants go from being entrusted with money, to being entrusted with cities, suddenly. The currency shifts at some point.
Whatever has broken your spirit or crushed your heart, it matters. It really matters.
I have noticed here in SC, they spray in the day, it rains overnight, in the morning patches of fuzzy mold everywhere in my yard.
I like how you explain yourself, it is understandable. I like how present you are with your son, not only observing his tube changing but dissecting it and investigating further, then sharing. Fantastic work.
The mold is very intense here, especially in all the homes with Routers (wifi 7) and some of these folks are testing wifi 8 routers for “free”., their exterior brick walls saturated.
Disturbing. I’ve never seen this happen to oxygen tubing either. Is he using an oxygen concentrator? Is it new? Does it have a filtering system? I don’t trust anything anyone. It’s a sad existence…
