Fm8, those fractal looking crystals are antennas. They have been identified via patents. The torus artifacts have also been identified by patent images and their function is known; I researched this many months ago but at the moment I can't recall the exact function of the torus artifacts. The antennnas however have been in the news lately because it has been shown that nicotine degrades and destroys them, by La Quinta Columna.
