Been getting some weird snow here in north Sweden too, where we're used to snow. Gritty, granular stuff that literally sticks like velcro to anything, Snow with a very thin layer of black "soot" like stuff in it which is so obviously a result of spraying. And when you melt it, it always has a "rainbow" scum on it, which to me is usually an indicator of some kind of petrochemical stuff. (Used to work as a petrol pump attendant in the old days for a while)

The frost crystals on the windows are crazy beautiful.
